Flower Fest

Just before we left for a fun sleep over with our good friends we went outside to play.  The girls touched, picked, rubbed, accidently tasted, smelled, made piles, threw in the air the yellow flowers in our back yard.  They spent about 30 minutes doing this until their hands literally turned yellow.

I had to laugh looking at this picture because I think it looks like an engagement photo.

We always try to do a fun jumping picture like Aunt Adrienne and her friend Sara.  We never can get it just right.
{If you enlarge this photo, Dru looks like the girl from Hairspray!}

I love to see what they come up with when I tell them to do something silly.

Dru and Livy argue like sisters sometimes do, but they are truly best friends!

We had to take this photo about 10 times to get the flowers flying in the shot.

Dru has a new set of wheels

Dru learned how to ride a two-wheeler bike yesterday!  She jumped on, Ry gave her some tips and off she went.  She was so impressed with herself.  It was a treat to watch the whole process.
She has quite the look of determination on her face.
Off she goes with Ry running by her side just in case.
Way to go Dru!
Rylie's favorite thing to do is smearing yogurt all over her face and hair.  The first time was cute and funny but now it is getting out of hand.
Winston entertains the girls by screaming at the top of his lungs.

A Sunday Photo Shoot.

This is our favorite tree.  It only blooms for two short weeks during the year.

This shot does not due it justice.  We have even noticed some people stop their car to snap some photos.  It is beautiful.
Dru took this picture of us.  Pretty good, huh?

Butler Bobcat!

It is still hard to believe that I have a child old enough to be in Kindergarten.  Dru has almost completed her first year as an official Butler Bobcat.  This picture is after a small dance performance she participated in with her class.  She was one of 80 kids on stage.  Although we did not spot her until the final seconds of the dance, we were so proud.

Easter part 2

Adrienne and Rayne came for Easter!  What a treat for all of us.-- (especially the girls)  They spoiled them with so much love and attention.  The girls were in heaven.

Easter

Easter morning at our house: cute colorful skirts, a couple of egg hunts, Easter buckets, church, visits to grandparents, special visitors from NY and London and a delicious Easter dinner.
{more pictures coming}
The only picture I could get with all three girls.
Rylie is our Easter chick!

The Easter bunny even left something for Ryan.  I think he had more fun looking for his Easter bucket than the girls.

The girl's Easter egg hunt consisted of 60 EMPTY plastic eggs.  I told the girls they were filled with love!  They didn't seem to care.

We stopped by grandpa Steve and grandma Kathy's house for a fun visit.

Easter Eggs!
These are real eggs that we blew out and dyed with food coloring.  We finished them off with paint speckles.

Thanks Grandma for the fun craft idea!
