Christmas!

On Christmas Eve we always exchange the sibling gifts.  This is a fun way for the kids to give and receive and practice their manners.  It seemed the kids were more anxious to give their gifts than receive.  It was fun to watch.

The thank you hugs were adorable!

We then headed to the Martins for Christmas Eve dinner.  We ate a delicious dinner and then talked about our Savior and His amazing life.  It was so nice to remember and talk about the
 real reason we celebrate Christmas.

Owen is obsessed with Loren and asked him lift him so he could touch the star.  Loren is 6'5" so this was not a big deal.  After the 27th request it became a big deal and we had to tell
Owen to leave poor Loren alone.

Loren was a good sport and let Owen climb and jump all over him.---the entire weekend!

Christmas day began at 8am with these cute kids.
They came in bright eyed and squealing with delight.
...and it SNOWED!!!

They opened their gifts and seemed pretty happy with what Santa had left them.

This silly Angry Birds game was a hit for Owen....and Ryan.

My parents and Kim came and delivered their gifts which was really fun.
It was also fun for the kids to show them what they had received.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Olaf saved the day.

Next we headed to the Fenton's for a BEAUTIFUL Christmas brunch.

Cousins are the best!

This year the cousins drew names and gave books instead of toys.
It was awesome.  I am sure we will do that again next year.

Last stop for the day...the Martins.
We were spoiled once again.

Adrienne made Dru Studio C shirts with Dru's face photoshopped in as one of the characters.
Dru loved all 3!  What a clever gift!

The darling twins were so good as always.

Rylie's Barbies needed some men in their life.

The first thing on Owen's Christmas list was a fire truck.
His dream came true!  He LOVES it!

We ended the night with frosting sugar cookies.
What a perfect ending!

Owen's Christmas program

Owen sang his heart out at his preschool Christmas program.
He sang loud, did all the actions and bowed after each song.

Owen with his awesome teacher.

Owen's cute friends.

Owen loves preschool and I am so proud of him.

Polar Express

Rylie had a Polar Express day at school.
She wore her pjs to school, drank hot chocolate and watched the movie.
She was SO excited!

Christmas traditions

After Sunday dinner we celebrated with some of our fun Christmas traditions.
The kids acted out the nativity.  Molly was baby Jesus.  It was darling.

Grandma Kathy then passed out the Christmas pjs.

The pjs were a hit.
This was the best picture we could get. :)

Thank you for a wonderful night!
