Christmas morning at our house.

Rylie's life long dream came true when she got her purple unicorn Pillow Pet!
All the girls got a sweet simple stitch kit from Aunt Rayne.
The girl's love to sew with me so this was a perfect gift.
Aunt Rayne also surprised the girl's with beautiful jewelry from Crewcuts.
Rylie got adorable kitty cat shoes.
Purrrrrrfect for Rylie.
Although you can't see the actual gift, Aunt Rayne sent darling paper doll sets for the girls. They have been played with EVERYDAY since Christmas.
Thank you Aunt Rayne!!!
Rylie had many dreams come true....she got another Dora doll and finally got a pink zhu zhu pet. I LOVED her Christmas list!
Gma Kathy and Gpa Steve came over to give us their gifts early in the morning. They totally surprised Dru and Liv with the matching American Girl Doll twin they got from Santa. Man, our girls are so spoiled!
Rylie got a Repunzel doll from her new fav movie Tangled!
It was a magical morning! It is SO fun for Ry and I to watch these girls squeal with delight!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Gma and Gpa Fenton's home with Megan and Daniel.
We ate a delicious meal, played games, read books and just relaxed enjoying every minute of the night.
Grandma Kathy read the story Polar Express.
I still love to hear her tell a story.
We played Minute to Win it. It was hilarious to watch and play!

Bubs and Britt stopped by for a quick visit.
Owen discovered the train. He couldn't take his eyes off of it.

My parent's always give the grandchildren pjs before Christmas.
It is fun to see what the theme will be that year.
This year was frogs & monkeys for the girls and football for the boys.

Uncle Ry Ry with Rylie. (a rare happy moment! ) :)

One fun tradition at the Fentons is acting out the nativity.
It is never perfect but that is what makes it fun. The purpose is to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas which it always does. Dru got to be Mary this year with Owen as baby Jesus. Rylie was a wiseman and Olivia was on stage crew. (Liv was a bit timid this year)

We have started some new traditions this Christmas.

Our new favorite is the magic elf that lives at our house the month of December. He can be found in a different spot each morning. He reports back to Santa how the girls are behaving. The girls look forward to finding the elf every morning. (It is a Gma Wheat original which makes it extra special.)
Grandma Martin came over one afternoon to make Christmas cookies. We made cranberry, chocolate and little mice cookies. We are hoping this turns into a yearly tradition. :)

Grandma Kathy had the girls over and made a fun gingerbread house but the real hight light was the pj party she held for all the grandchildren. They danced, ate pancakes, frosted cookies, made cards and ornaments.

We celebrated my amazing Mom's birthday last Sunday! We treated her to a Sunday dinner (which was nothing like her usual Sunday dinners) and Berkleigh made this awesome cake.

Happy Birthday Mom!
Thanks for all the MILLIONS of things you do for us!

You ALWAYS put family first.
Thanks for that example.
