11.21.2010

We woke up to 10 inches of snow!

11.20.2010

We spent Saturday morning raking up all our leaves before the big storm. We filled over 16 bags! I love working together as a family. I have great memories from my childhood doing things like this with my family in our yard and at our farm. I hope our kids learn to love hard work and enjoy doing it together.

This post is to show that most of the time I win. (in the daily dressing battles)
Today she is wearing a matching outfit complete with a matching purple bow. (she did throw on a purple hair band for a necklace....because it matches of course)

Sure beats bear bottom tights and water shoes!

11.16.2010

This little boy is such a sweetheart!
He eats great, sleeps well and is happy 99% of the time.

{Owen 35 weeks}
Rylie still smothers Owen. (a bit too much)
In this picture she is helping Owen learn how to crawl and changing the diaper on her baby at the same time. (She loves to multi-task like me.)
Do you love Rylie's outfit? I didn't have the energy to argue. She loves the tights with the bear on the bottom and thinks everyone should see it. She is also wearing water shoes. Yikes!
{Owen 36 weeks}
Liv is still the best at making Owen smile and laugh.
Owen loves to stand up holding on to anything he can get his hands on.
{Owen week 37}
He is still not crawling and I am NOT complaining.

Owen eating his favorite snack....CHEERIOS.
It was a big day when he figured out how to eat them all by himself.

11.08.2010

A snowy morning like today reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when the power went out. From 7:30-8:00 a.m. we had no lights to help Dru get ready for school. Luckily we had Halloween candles within reach so Dru could finish up some last minute homework and Rylie somehow managed to find her princess dress. (so glad we have moved on to another holiday. the dressing up every second was starting to get old.)

It just makes me grateful for all the little things we take for granted.
p.s. It was COMPLETELY dark when I took this picture.

11.03.2010

The last of the Halloween pictures. I promise.

Pumpkin pancakes for breakfast.
(with some chocolate chips to make a little face)

Engh Gardens
(not as cool as last year)

Ryan discovered a real cat hiding in this box and tried to scare the girls with it.

Owen (so ready for a nap in this pic) dressed up as many things this Halloween.
His Halloween night costume was a peanut.
(Aunt Adrienne gave this shirt to Dru when she was just a peanut)
We also carved pumpkins and roasted the seeds in a lot of different flavors. Yum.
I thought Rylie would do better with coloring rather than carving.
(Thank goodness she agreed)

More Halloween pictures
(Rylie wore the goggles because she really wanted to be
Ming Ming from Wonder Pets)
