Week 31

Owen LOVES bath time.

Ryan LOVES to golf. He goes every chance he gets.

He was invited to a charity event and ended up winning "closest to the pin!"

Yahoo.

The loot:

100 bucks to Olive Garden (great for date night)

20 bucks to Beans and Brews (we'll go buy a muffin or something)

U of U gear and a Michelob visor (useless riff-raff)

A ticket to a sold out U of U game.

Other fun knick knacks

I sometimes cringe at how much it costs to play the game and Ryan teases by saying that he has to practice if he wants to go pro.

I am lucky if Rylie takes a nap these days. When 1pm hits, I send her into her room for quiet time. Sometimes she will fall asleep (see below) but most of the time she is found trying on clothes, reading or talking to her Dora and Diego.

Grandpa Martin came over to give the girls a ride in his new cool jeep. The girls smiled all the way around the block. Rylie thought they were going to roll over but Grandpa Martin kept them safe. :)

Maybe next year Owen.

Winston came over to make cookies with Rylie. We made sugar cookies with cute little school buses in the middle. Rylie and Winston usually don't get along, but I guess when cookies are involved their are no problems.

All in a day's work

I have been asked many, many times "What do you do all day?"

Answer: A LOT!

It is an exhausting job that NEVER ends and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love being a stay at home mom. (thank you ryan)

Liv recently discovered PhotoBooth and begs for a mini session daily.

Olivia begged me to let her try out Owen's Johnny Jump Up.

She fit inside just fine, but was a bit tall.

Rylie and Dru thought it was pretty funny and watched while Liv gave it a whirl.

Just had to try them

Huggies has come out with a limited edition jean diaper. I bought a few packs to try on Owen. They are cute but I don't think we will try and pull of the white shirt and diaper as a look. Has anyone seen the commercial? Look it up. It is pretty funny.

The jean diaper won a spot as week 30 for little O.

We spent Labor Day in the mountains hiking up to Dog Lake. Well, actually half way to Dog Lake. The girls love to hike and we had a great time.

Owen fell asleep on the way down.

Don't you love Rylie's model, wind blown hair and Halloween shirt? I do.

First day of KINDERGARTEN

Olivia was OVER THE TOP excited for her first day of kindergarten. Just look at the picture below. She is laughing/smiling walking into school. She must have asked me a MILLION times if it was time to go. When we pulled into the parking lot of her school, she bolted out of the car. In my mind, we were going to walk hand in hand, take some pictures and hug for a long time. That did not happen. She lined up and off she went. I was able to get this one shot of her looking back.
