We celebrated Ryan's birthday this weekend and
could not pass up an opportunity to blog about him.

Ryan is the type of guy who:
loves to make people SMILE
goes out of his way to HELP others
works HARD to provide for his family
is always a GENTLEMAN
CRAZY about his kids
lives for GOLF with his buddies
LOVES his wife no matter what
is NON judgemental
ALWAYS honest
HONORS his priesthood
loves to LEARN new things
is always up for an ADVENTURE
craves SUSHI
will listen to his wife tell him EVERY detail about her day
play legos with his kids for HOURS

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the best husband and dad!
Man, I cannot imagine life without this guy.
I LOVE YOU more than you know!

Ryan went on a golf trip with some good friends and Owen wanted to help him pack. How cute is that? Ryan can't wait for Owen to be his little golf buddy.
While Ry was gone the girls, Owen and I got down to business.
We painted nails....and dried them over the heating vent. (minus O of course)
Then the girls wanted to go to the beach. Why not?
(With 30 degree weather out, it sounded like a good idea to me.)

We ended up at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Steve's house for snow painting and Mega Mind.
What a great day.

There were some tears though.
They hugged and made up.

Then Owen decided we wanted to start walking! He has taken up to 10 steps in a row.
Yahoo.

Owen is loving his sisters and the feeling is mutual.
I remember my mom saying how great it is for her to see her children get together and love each other. I get it.
What fun it is for me to see all four of mine playing something together.

(Dru was helping me get everyone looking and smiling which is why she is not in the photo.)

SUPER friends

Our favorite friends came over to hang out for the weekend!
We ate, played games, ate, chatted, laughed, ate, went to church, ate, watched the Super Bowl, watched our kids play and jump for pics and ate some more.
It was so fun to be together and just wish we could do it more often.

Welcome Home

Ryan is back! He was out of town for a business trip and boy did we miss him.
The girls made a little welcome home sign for him and would not let him out of their site when he returned. They LOVE their dad and so do I!

Rylie loves to play with her mag-a-net dolls.
(I love the way she says magnet)
Rylie names her dolls, stuffed animals, shampoo bottles, pillows, pencils, pretty much everything silly names. Really silly names.
(For example....sinaca, analeca, conetca ,etc.)

It is just me and Rylie (owen is snoozing) all afternoon!
Today Rylie followed me around for seriously about an hour while I dusted and organized. She must have asked me 32 times to sew on the arm of her monkey. I either ignored her or told her I would in a minute. FINALLY, I happened to look at her when she asked me.
(Rylie has beautiful brown eyes by the way.)
I couldn't say "no" one more time. I dropped what I was doing and went straight to my needle and thread.
Monkey George no longer has a loose arm and Rylie and I played mag-a-net dolls for the rest of the afternoon.
Dusting Shmusting.

Dru and Olivia earned their BUTLER BOBCAT AWARD! They have 3 opportunities to get it during the year and they did it on the very first time. I am so proud of them.

Liv was SO excited to get her award. She has been squealing about it for days. But, from the time we walked into the gym she was tied to my hip and practically in tears. She can be painfully shy. When they called her name I walked her up and she received the award. No smiles until after! It was hilarious to watch.
You can't see her face, but this is Dru getting her award.
Dru is not shy and even posed with Boomer the Bobcat.
Out in the hall we took another quick picture.
They were able to pick a book of their choice for earning this award.
