Under the Sea

Grandma and Grandpa Martin took us to go see Under the Sea in 3-D!  It was really fun to see all those incredible fish swim right at you.  The girls were loving it until one of the fish ate a baby fish.  That was the end of it for Liv.  She spent the rest of the movie on Grandma's lap or Ryan's lap.  She held on tight to them with her glasses on her lap.  She missed the snakes and sharks which was a good thing.  It was just fun to all be together.  Thank you G-ma and G-pa Martin for a fun afternoon. ....and a special thanks to Kim for watching Rylie so we could watch the movie without interruption.  You are the best!

Dru trying to touch the fish.

Ryan and I were really disappointed when we found out we had to return the glasses at the end of the movie.

The only time I will cheer for the Utes!

Ryan's boss gave us her Utah gymnastic season tickets for the night.  What a fun event.  The girls were in awe at the amazing things the gymnasts could do.  It was bizarre being in a sea of red and cheering with them, but I will do anything for my family.  We left a bit early to get the girls down, picked up dinner on the way and watched the Jazz win.  That's an almost perfect night.

Rylie loved the music and people watching.

While Winston was over playing today, Rylie whacked him with a wooden stick.  He began to cry and ran to the first person he could find to comfort him.  Olivia was close and he ran right to her.  She couldn't believe her great luck.  She smiled and laughed with joy the whole time.  She LOVED having Winston cry in her lap.

To Rylie's defense, she had no clue what she had done and even began to rub Winston's back while he was crying.

The other night I found a pile of shoes in the middle of the floor.  Liv was holding a wooden stick over the pile.  When asked what she was doing, she gave me this look like....{isn't it obvious?}--the shoes were a camp fire and she was roasting marshmallows.   She recreated the fire again later that night with her sisters.

Ok...I just noticed the wooden stick has found it's way in all of these stories.  That's some cheap entertainment.  Dru is using that stick to play pool with Olivia.

Peek-a-boo and January poem

Rylie loves to play peek-a-boo.  I am trying to get Rylie to cover her eyes and say the words but Liv keeps her busy.  I love watching them play with each other and listening to Liv laugh.
{Sorry, couldn't get this one to turn for me.}
Olivia does EVERYTHING that Dru does.  She has memorized every kindergarten poem right along with Dru.

Splash Monday

Another day at the pool with fun friends made a gloomy Monday a little more bearable.  The girls splashed around until their finger began to look like prunes.  They love the water and would spend all day there if I let them.

Rylie loves to play with Jared's water snake.

Liv still loves her Sponge Bob tube that her Aunt Megan gave her.  I am embarrassed to say that Rylie knows how to say Sponge Bob.

I tried to get a picture of Dru but she refused to let me.
