The first thing on our to do list for day three was the Brooklyn Bridge.
We stopped along the way to take some pictures.
We walked across the bridge with half of New York and the other
half was riding their bikes. It was packed.
We had to be careful to stay on the right side.
Near the end of the bridge was a little stand selling mangos.
I don't even like mangos but wanted to buy one because of the way they
were cut and presented. So cool.
When we finally reached the other side we headed straight to Grimaldi's for some New York style pizza. We unfortunately found a SUPER long line. We decided it was our best option to stick it out.
We waited a solid hour. The girls were such good sports and provided some great
entertainment for the others in line.
After being seated we waited another 30 min. for our pizza.
It was worth the wait....I guess. We were so hungry at this point, anything would have tasted good.
We then walked down to the pier and saw another mile long line for the ice cream.
We took some pics and called it good.
Of course, we had to have some kind of dessert after lunch so
we made our way to Doughnut Plant.
Yum!
We walked through Bryant Park.
The flowers were in full bloom. It was beautiful.
That night we saw NEWSIES!
This was the highlight for me on this trip.
It was amazing!
Adrienne was pretty pumped to see the show.
After the play we stopped at Magnolia's bakery for a little birthday treat.
Liza turned 8!
Happy Birthday, cute girl!!!
We made some friends and ate some delicious desserts.
