Our community puts on a fun little parade every 24th of July to celebrate pioneer day. We love it because it comes right down our street. We just save our front lawn and invite friends and family to come over and watch. This year we had over 40 people. Fun!
Grandma Kathy & Grandpa Steve came this year!
We loved celebrating with them. They even braved the rain and watched the fireworks with us later that night. Gpa Steve treated all the girls to a cool light-up sword. They girls LOVED them.

Owen loved the parade and wanted more when it was over.

I know you always have fun during the summer, but a friend of mine told me about the Church History Museum having a wonderful Latin America Book of Mormon children's exhibit going on right now that's for FREE!! Her kids LOVED how interactive it was. Making dinner for missionaries, dressing up in dresses and dancing to latin music etc. By the look of her pictures it was awesome.... in case you were looking to squeeze in one more fun thing this summer ;)
