3rd Annual Witches Tea Party

My cute mother in law hosts a darling witches tea party every Halloween.
She even lets Owen join in as a guest pirate.

They made their owen potions with spooky things like owl eyes and bat dust.

They ate a fun dinner including mummy hotdogs and spaghetti spiders.

They each got a glitter sticker.

Super fun poses with mustaches.

Grandpa even joined in the fun.

They had a donut eating contest.

They also played a cute pumpkin game by cutting out pumpkin face parts
and then putting them on blind folded.

They finished off the night by playing Halloween bingo.
Ryan and I made it in time to play.

Fenton Halloween party

We look forward to this Halloween party every year!
We love being together and seeing what each family dresses up like.
We ate, read spooky stories, played fun games and even did a cute craft.

Owen and Rylie...monkeys
{Rylie insisted girl monkeys wear lipstick.}

Liv as a cute little chinese girl.

 Dru the witch.

Ryan and I were athletes...soccer player and runner.

The rest of the family...

The grandkids

Almost all of us....

The witches

We love to see the witches at Gardner Village.
I will be so sad when my kids don't think it is fun to find all these crazy witches and take a million pictures.  Most days I wish I could just freeze time.  This was one of those days.
{Some days I wish the day would just end.}

I love the fall time for all the great traditions that our family has created.
The witches is one of my favorites...

How fun we got to share this day with Gma, Aunt Kim and our cousins!

Thanks mom for making it extra special with yummy baked goods and fun surprises for the kids.

Olivia turns 8!

Olivia celebrated her 8th birthday with a FLOWER party!

The invite

As each girl arrived they colored a flower garden with 8 flowers.

Their beautiful artwork.

Olivia has the cutest friends.

Dru made this awesome flower and played pin the center on the flower with the girls.

Then each painted a flower pot and filled it with beans for a flower pen.

After dinner we had to frost flower cookies, of course.

Olivia blowing out the candles and making a wish.
{I am guessing she wished for fake nails or clip on earrings.}  :)

Each girl went home with a chocolate drizzled rice krispie flower.

I love Olivia!
I can't believe she is 8!
Olivia is getting baptized next month.  She has been ready ever since Dru was baptized.  Olivia has been counting down the days.....literally.  I love Olivia's excitement for life and the gospel.  This girl knows her stuff.  She has a very strong testimony and a huge heart.

Temple Square

It seems Temple Square is beautiful all year long and we feel lucky to live so close.  We visited last Friday for a fun outing with the family and were amazed by its beauty.  We talked about all the symbols on the temple, walked around admiring the millions of beautiful flowers and took a few pictures.
