girlcation

Ryan went on a "mancation" with his work buddys. (Monday-Wednesday)  They hit 3 great golf courses down South to enjoy warmer weather, good company and to test out Ry's new putter and driver.
So, we decided to take a "girlcation" to Grandma Kathy's and Grandpa Steve's house!  We drove a whole 2 miles to our destination.  Dru had Mon. and Tues. off so we stayed the one night but crammed in all that we could.  We crafted, crafted and crafted some more.  My mom and I stayed up until midnight scrapbooking.  I finished Rylie's book...start to present.  Not too shabby!  We went out to dinner, watched 24, went shopping, played with cousins, etc. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
We even went to visit Grandpa Martin.  In the one hour we were there, he fed us lunch, looked through his telescope at the beautiful mountains and even went sledding in his backyard on their knee board.  Thanks Grandpa Martin!

It has been a fun two days.

Of course we all miss Ryan.  In fact, Liv cried for him tonight and wanted to see him on Skype.  So cute!  The girls ADORE their dad and can't wait for him to come home.

Here is Liv sleeping with her new shades and gloves.  Olivia requested to sleep with them.

Dru wanted me to take a picture of her too.

Rylie talking on the phone to her Uncle Alex wishing him a happy birthday!  Happy Birthday AL!

The girls helping Ry get ready for his golf trip.

Rylie loves to sleep anywhere, anytime.  Her crazy schedule lately: (I am not making this up!)
Down by 8:00 p.m.
Up around 10:30 a.m. or so
Back down at 1:00 p.m. for a nap
We have to wake her up around 6:15 p.m. or so because she goes back down for bed at 8:00
She would sleep longer if we let her.

I am enjoying it while it lasts!

My fun girls...

Here we are brushing our teeth Sunday morning.  It is a family affair that can last up to 5 minutes.  Rylie just loves dipping her tooth brush and sipping the water.  She went to church soaked up to her elbows.

Here are the girls playing princess in their room.
After taking the pictures I noticed that each crown represents each girl. (sort of)

Dru's crown:  Homemade, simple, made of paper.  She LOVES to craft.

Liv's crown: fluffy, fancy and has a heart jewel.  All girl.

Rylie's crown:  very typical and just sweet.  Rylie is turning out to be more amazing everyday.  She makes me laugh all the time.  She has quite the personality.  She is a typical toddler and oh so sweet.  I can't get enough of her!

Olivia can't get enough of her either and continues to smother her.
Rylie is already to the stage where she wants to do everything that her big sisters do.

She is saying "UP, UP, UP, UP!" in this picture.  One of her many words.

Everyday adventures...

Liv is obsessed with her new gum ball shirt.  She begs to wear it daily.

Dru got all dressed up for cowboy day! (Thanks Lisa)  She continues to LOVE kindergarten and LOVES her teacher.  Dru even told me one day while I was doing her hair that she wanted Mrs. Young to be her mom.  I asked..."What about me?"  She told me I could be her step-mom.

Dru lost another tooth!  She was out to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Martin and it came out while eating a fortune cookie.  The tooth fairy brought her 4 quarters.

Liv loves putting together puzzles and calls it her "homework."

Rylie eating a pancake...her favorite!

I caught Dru and Olivia playing dress ups and  took a picture.  Liv was not happy about it.

Dru was happy to pose.

I got them both to pose for me a little later.

Snow days

It has been a very snowy month.  The snow blower has proven to be a wise investment.

Sunday afternoon

Last one!

I have been having major computer/camera problems.  Here are the last pics of Christmas.  It is hard to decide which pictures to post when you have a big family and spend the day with four different groups of people.  I would not have it any other way.

Here are my cute nieces in their horse gear.

Passing out the gifts.

Another Christmas pout!

Liv was so excited to get a My Little Pony on a scooter.

Daniel and Ryan teasing Max.

Christmas 2008 {part two}

Olivia did not even take the time to take off her coat before ripping into her presents.

Every time we go over to my parents, Rylie will go straight to my dad.  They are great friends.

My parents gave us many gifts, but the best gift was a their list of top ten things they admire about each of us.  Every list was personal and very thoughtful.  They will be a fun remembrance of this Christmas.

Uncle Ryan has a way with my girls.  It started with TERROR, but now it is "love and affection."  Ha ha ha!!!

All of the Fenton grandchildren in their cute monkey pjs.  ...minus sleeping Rylie.
