Newport

We went to Newport last week with my family.  We had such a great time!  Thank you mom and dad for an amazing week.  We loved spending time together in sunny California.

 We decided to leave Owen with Gpa and Gma Martin.  Owen is not the best traveler and we knew he would be miserable waiting in lines at Disneyland.  We dropped him off and he never looked back.  He had a fabulous week with Gpa.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking such great care of Owen.  He loves you! 

We first  topped in St. George to break up the long drive.  We ate, hiked and stopped at the famous Swig to try their signature sugar cookie and dirty diet coke.  They did not disappoint.  

We finally made it to the the Newport Coast Villas.  

My cute cousin Joe came to swim and say hi.  The girls LOVE him.  He was such a great sport to play with all his "fans."

We are in love with this resort!  It is so great for families.

My mom is a tether ball champion so we had to stop for a quick game.

What a blessing

 We have twins in our family!   Penny and Charlotte are adorable and already so different.  What a blessing they have been.  Alex and Elisabeth couldn't be better parents for these two precious babies.

We love them so much!

They blessed them in their home and family came from all over to support them.

 Alex did an incredible job giving them each a blessing.

We don't get to spend enough time with Aunt Rayne, Uncle Tom and Aunt Adrienne.

Dru's birthday party

Dru turned 10 a month ago but have not had a weekend open to celebrate with her friends.

So, almost a month later we finally had a swimming party.

Dru has the sweetest friends.

They are kind, fun, happy, darling and so silly.

After swimming we came back for dessert.  

Dru requested brownie trifle and rice krispie treats.

Dru invited Aunt Kim to come to her party.

They are such great friends and want to hangout all the time.

Dru did a book report on Walt Disney.  

I had to take a picture because she worked so hard on this assignment.  Walt and Dru would have made quite a creative team.

Dru made Mickey Mouse cupcakes all by herself for 28 of her classmates and teacher.  She even made one for the computer teacher who loves Disney.  How thought was that?

Rain

It rained ALL DAY yesterday.

Rylie wanted to go outside to play in the rain...
