Silver Lake

We were invited to watch the BYU/u game at a good friend's cabin.  The cabin is minutes away from Silver Lake so we had to stop by and visit this beautiful spot.
(My girls are sporting red because they love their Dad, not the team.)
They all plan on going to BYU!  :)

The closest I will get to a red U shirt.

Cute friends.

It was such a fun night!  The game was devastating but the company THE BEST!

Boating with Ade!

Aunt Adrienne came to visit so off we went to
 Jordanelle for a little boating.
It was our first time on the boat as a family this summer/fall.
How did that happen?

Owen DID NOT like his life jacket!
He pretty much cried/whined the entire time.

I love this picture of Owen complaining and Ryan ignoring it like I did the entire trip.

The water was FREEZING!!!
I never touched the water but took their word for it.
Olivia cried the second she hit the water.
Somehow she smiled for this shot.

Rylie's first reaction.
I would have done the same thing.

Ade was a good sport and stayed in as long as the girl's wanted.
Luckily it wasn't too long.

Dru was an awesome tuber.

Owen even got a little tube action.

Rylie jumped on for a quick picture.

Best buddies.

The captain of the boat.
Thanks for a fun afternoon!

All the girls....and O.

Labor Day Field Trip

We spent our labor day at the Kennecott Copper Mine.  It was actually pretty cool and the kids had a lot of fun.  They were in awe over the HUGE tires that are used on the trucks.  Ryan and I were in awe over the cost for one....$25,000.  We took our time watching the trucks slowly climb out of the mine.  Owen seemed to be in heaven and could have spent hours staring and pointing.  We loved the museum and the little video explaining the mining process.  The kids also loved the gift shop and could have spent their life savings inside.

First day of preschool

Rylie's official first day of school was today.
She was pretty excited about it.
I thought I was too, but I ended up crying all the way home.
I am going to miss this crazy, fun, sweet,
imaginative little girl.

Here she is walking into preschool...

looking a bit unsure...

pushing that big front door open...

waving goodbye!
