We were lucky to go to Lake Tahoe with the Martins this summer. Rylie got to drive down early with Grandpa and Grandma Martin. We stayed in a beautiful area with
the coolest trail right next door. The kids loved to explore this place.
The best part was just hanging out.
We played a lot of games and the kids LOVED playing with their cousins.
We went to Historic Virginia City and Grandpa treated us to a
fun tour of an old mine, ice cream and a train ride.
It was just warm enough to go swimming.
One day our family, Adrienne and Loren hiked up to Angora Lakes. It was BEAUTIFUL!
We rented paddle boards, jumped off a huge rock and
ate a picnic lunch while Owen scared off all the squirrels.
We ate some delicious Hawaiian shave ice on the beach.
Lake Tahoe was pretty cold so we just dipped our feet in and collected sea shells.
Ryan and Hazel really bonded this trip.
The last day everyone started their drive home early, including Rylie.
The rest of us stayed back to enjoy the day.
We rented bikes and rode all over Lake Tahoe.
We ate a yummy lunch at California Burger Co. and walked around window shopping.
We had fun watching the awesome gondolas that were too crazy expensive to ride.
Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Martin for a wonderful family vacation!
