Rylie turns 9

Rylie requested a space theme birthday party this year.
We made element sand jars, alien space ships, hunted for astroids, did a bean bag toss to all the planets, ate space themed food, learned all the planets names and facts about each one and ate cupcakes and drank rocket fuel.

I love Rylie and all her spunk.
This girl has the BEST imagination and prefers to play alone.
She loves barbies and dolls.
She knows how she wants her hair and what she is going to wear each day
and no one can change her mind.
She loves school and is a great help to her teachers.
Rylie loves to read and learn new things.
She gets told all the time that she looks just like her dad.  I agree.
I  love you Rylie!

Heber Camp

 I love this ward tradition!
All the moms and daughters are invited to spend a night and afternoon at Heber Camp.
We ate dinner, visited and played games until way too late.
This year we signed up for the ropes course.
It was so fun!  We all took a turn climbing up, walking across and zip lining down.
I am so proud of my girls.  It was a super scary thing to do but they all did it!

Youth Conference

I went to youth conference with Dru and our young men and young women.
We had amazing devotionals, incredible guest speakers, played fun games, participated in a ropes course, did a little shopping and had a fun dance for the youth.  I am so impressed with our youth!

Bear Lake

We LOVE Bear Lake!
My parents rented an awesome house that could sleep all 33 of us.  It had a fun yard to play in and was close to the beach and walking distance to town.  We played, ate, spent 2 days at the beach, rented wave runners and paddle boards, ate La Beau's famous shakes and loved visiting with each other.  Heidi and Kade came up this year which made it extra fun.

Thanks mom and dad for always creating opportunities for us to get together!
