Girl's weekend

My mom took us to go see 42nd Street at the Capital Theater.  It was incredible!
We loved the amazing dancing, detailed costumes and fun songs.

I love my family!
All these ladies are kind, creative, loving and fun.

It makes me so happy that my girls have such great cousins that are true friends.

The next night we met at women's conference.
This was Rylie's first time.
It was a treat to all be together.

Rylie's baptism

Rylie made the decision to be baptized.
We love Rylie and are so proud of her.
She was baptized and confirmed by her dad on Saturday, September 5th.
This girl was ready and excited.

She looked beautiful in a dress given to her by her Grandma Kathy.

Look at all the people who love Rylie!

Aunt Adrienne came all the way from New York.
It meant a lot to have her there.

We celebrated with a brunch at my parents home after the baptism.

Aunt Kristen made these amazing cookies.

We ate bagels and cream cheese, yogurt with granola and fruit toppings, blueberry cake, poppyseed muffins, grapes and orange juice and apple juice to drink.

Everyone was so kind to sit and watch a 17 minute dvd I made of Rylie's first 8 years.

It was such a special day and one I hope Rylie will never forget.

T Swift

These 3 lucky girls got to go to the Taylor Swift concert.
Liv cried when she found out she was going.
We are all huge fans.

They were bursting with excitement.

The concert did not disappoint!
They waited 45 minutes in a mob to get $35.00 t-shirts.
It was the best night ever.

Owen starts Kindergarten

Owen started Kindergarten this week.  He goes in the afternoon with a lot of his friends.
He was super excited and really loves his teacher Mrs. Heldt.  She has been teaching for 34 years and is just awesome.  Our mornings are filled with bike rides, Legos and a ton of games.

Owen's buddies- Finley, Samara and Emme

Rylie and Olivia love walking home with Owen after school.
{They are building a new school which should be ready by next year.
You can see it in the background.}

First day of school

The first day of school is such a fun time of year!
We love new clothes and school supplies.
We love fall weather.
We love "starting over" and making new friends.

The morning of the first day was a roller coaster of emotions.
We went through them ALL...

Rylie is in 2nd Grade.
English teacher: Miss Guffy

Olivia is in 5th grade.
English teacher: Mrs. Cope
French teacher: Ludlum

This is the last year these two will walk together to school.

To my surprise I actually got a little emotional when I watched Rylie line up and walk in.
I was saving my tears for next week when Owen goes to kindergarten.  I got choked up watching her line up and walk in.

Dru is in 7th grade.
She has super cute friends and is a SBO again this year.
