St. G

We spent UEA weekend at St. George with the Martins.
We stayed in an awesome condo, celebrated Taunya's birthday, hiked Snow Canyon & Dixie Rock, stopped at Swig, went swimming, watched movies, played games, ate a lot of great food and swooned over the twins.  (sadly I lost more than half my pics...boo hoo)  I had great pictures of everything and everyone.  These Snow Canyon shots will have to do...

Thank you G&G Martin for a wonderful weekend!

Olivia's Baking Birthday Party

 Olivia turned 9!
9 words to describe Liv...
sweetheart
fashionable
creative
reader
healthy-eater
thoughtful
loyal
smart
kind

Liv's actual birthday was over a school holiday so she got to lunch with her dad.

Olivia wanted to celebrate with her friends with a baking party.

Every girl got a box to take her goodies home in.

They also got an apron to wear during the party and then to take home.

Before the madness...

Liv's sweet friends!

We started with a memory game with baking supplies.

Then we decorated some chocolate cookies.

Then some cupcakes.

We took a break from decorating and had a little baking relay race.

We also played a cookie cutter matching game.

We ended the party by letting the girls make their own "creation."  I had a bunch of baking ingredients on the table and let them go crazy.  They loved cracking eggs and comparing recipes.

A peek into a goodie box.
Cupcakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate chip cookie and cake pops.

Happy Birthday "SWEET" Olivia!

Rylie's rainbow party

Rylie wanted to celebrate her big 6 with a Rainbow party!  She was so happy to have a lot of family come and share the night.  Thank you!  Here are the pics in random order...

Each family got a pack of rainbow licorice and the kids got some rainbow chalk.

The guessing jar!
419 total and gpa Martin won.

The kids made rainbow (fruitloop) necklaces.

Ryan grilled some colorful veggies and chicken.

We also ate a rainbow of fruit with dip, rolls and chips with salsa.

Cute cousins!

Speaking of cute cousins, these cuties made it to the party.
Love the rainbow shirt, Charlotte!

We played under and over the rainbow.

Rylie loves Heidi!

We ate rainbow cupcakes and rainbow sherbet for dessert.

The best way I can describe Rylie right now is she knows how to have fun!
She has fun at school, reading, playing Barbies, jumping on the trampoline and dressing her dolls and stuffed animals.  She also has fun teasing all her siblings and pushing the limits.  She has fun talking to herself while playing using her imagination.  I have fun peeking in and watching her.
She is just a fun and funny little girl.
I love being her mom!
