Olivia's baptism

Olivia was the only child to be baptized the month of November so we had our own private baptism. Lucky us! We had an aunt and uncle give prayers, grandma's and a grandpa give talks and aunt Ade help out/entertain/teach while I was getting Olivia changed and dressed.

It was a perfect day.

I don't think anyone was MORE EXCITED than Olivia!  She had been counting down since Dru was baptized.  She was prepared, anxious and beaming that day!  

 Grandma Kathy took Liv shopping and found this beautiful dress.  It was made for Olivia.

What a fun tradition.

 Aunt Rayne gave Liv a gorgeous silver  key necklace with a ruby.

She adores it!

AWESOME friends who came to support Liv.

Olivia received scriptures from Grandma and Grandpa Martin.

She uses them everyday and loves to mark them.

I made a little DVD of Liv's life to show at the lunch afterwards.  

It was hard to pick and choose photos (millions of options) so everyone was nice to sit through 

19 minutes of my obsession of Olivia.

It made the day go so smoothly and made my life a lot easier.

All on a Halloween night...

We started off our Halloween night by painting our pumpkins.

We may never carve again.

Then it was off to the Martins to start our trick or treating.

We were able to snag some full size goodies.  Yum.

 We picked up Aunt Kim for our little neighborhood that we love going to.

Kim was so great with Owen and such a big help!

Ryan and I watched this adorable sight house after house.

We are soaking it in because we know it will not be this perfect for too much longer.

Finally, we stopped at my parents for a bit.  They treated us to a Halloween feast!  

It was fun to chat, eat and watch the kids sort and count their candy.

We also sang our favorite Halloween song a few times.  

I love that my parents make holidays a big deal.

Owen "played" with his candy. 

 He loved to dump his candy, line it up and then put it back in his bucket.....again and again. 

Lucky us!

Rayne came to visit last weekend!  

It was so fun to visit and spend time with this amazing person.

We love to hear about all the incredible trips and adventures for work and pleasure.

She is not only beautiful and talented but one of the most generous people I know.

We love Aunt Rayne.

3rd Annual Witches Tea Party

My cute mother in law hosts a darling witches tea party every Halloween.

She even lets Owen join in as a guest pirate.

They made their owen potions with spooky things like owl eyes and bat dust.

They ate a fun dinner including mummy hotdogs and spaghetti spiders.

They each got a glitter sticker.

Super fun poses with mustaches.

Grandpa even joined in the fun.

They had a donut eating contest.

They also played a cute pumpkin game by cutting out pumpkin face parts 

and then putting them on blind folded. 

They finished off the night by playing Halloween bingo. 

Ryan and I made it in time to play.
