"O" party

We celebrated Owen's birthday last night with an "O" party.  We call him O all the time so I thought it would be a fun and simple theme.  I tried to have as many O things to help make it fun.

We ate doughnuts, O cookies, an O bundt cake and O gummy rings.  

We drank h2O and Orange crush.

Dru helped me decorate with an O on the front door and blue balloons in the shape of an O.

We played some O games.....

I can't wait for him to wear them both.

Owen turns 2

Can it be true?  Is my little Owen 2 years old already?  It makes me teary just thinking about it.  I am not sure if it is because Owen is my last or my one and only boy, but geesh....it is killing me.  

Here are some reasons why we love O:
His long lashes  (his are by far longer than all my girls)
His deep belly laugh (it makes everyone else laugh)
His obsession for reading (he would take a book over a toy any day)
He loves milk  (he doesn't sip, he chugs until it is gone)
He is starting to talk and is super polite (knows all fam names, please, thank you, excuse me, etc.)
...he can repeat anything you say
His love for his sisters  (he no longer has a fav.....he adores them all)
He is oozing with sweetness (he will cuddle anytime)
He is a sleeping machine (wakes up 8:30ish, naps 12:30-5ish then back down at 8)
...many times I have to wake him up at 6:30pm to eat dinner so he can go back down 1 1/2hr later.
He is finally loving nursery and is awesome during sacrament meeting
He sleeps with 3 blankets (gifts from cute friends and my mom)
He is all boy (it is so fun to have something different...but he is not a crazy and into everything kind of boy)
He is a champ at blowing kisses and will do it on command
If your hand is in reaching distance, he loves to grab your finger and take you to what he wants
He is loves to share (I guess you get pretty good at that when you are #4)
He is pretty darn obedient for a 2 year old
He loves to scare people (especially if they give a good reaction)
He begs to play games (connect 4 is his current fav)
He falls into a trance when someone tickles his back or rubs his head

We all have fallen for this kid.

bits and pieces of yesterday...

Our day began with a delicious smoothie.

 Followed by some yummy cookies.

We spilt some major milk.

Finally...a dance party.

We love when our cute cousins come to play!

It finally snowed!

The day after Christmas we thought it would be fun to go for a walk and play with some of our new toys.  We nearly froze to death.  We played for about 15 minutes and then walked back home to have hot chocolate.

   I think Owen has had the least of amount of playtime on his new wiggle car.  :)

Our Crazy Christmas!

Christmas morning started bright and early.  We woke up the girls and Owen at 7:00 am.

We opened presents from Aunt Rayne and Uncle Tom and Santa. 

 Rayne and Tom sent beautiful clothes.  Each matching the kids personalities.  Perfect!

They were relieved to find out that Santa thought they were good this year.

 Owen got a new "David" book.  These are by far his favorite!

 Rylie got a picture of the Temple that she did not ask for.  

It will go great in the girl's room.  :)

 Liv loved her backpack on wheels!  She has been wanting one for a long time.

 More clothes!   We are so spoiled by Aunt Rayne and Uncle Tom.

 Liv was most excited for her dress up high heels!

 Liv got a fish too!  She named him noodles within seconds.

Then we went to hear Gma Martin speak in church.  She did a wonderful job, of course.

After, we headed over to their house for a yummy breakfast and gifts.

The girls got roller blades and have been cruising around ever since.

 Owen got a truck that shakes and makes a lot of noises.  Perfect!

He was desperate for boy toys.

It was so fun to be with Alex and Elisabeth!

 Cute Aunt Adrienne got each of the girls a crafting set.

Then we went to the Fenton's home to celebrate with everyone!

 Owen got a sweet basketball hoop!

 Rylie is obsessed with Dora and got a Dora pillow pet.  She LOVES it!

 Liv loves her Barbie suitcase full of fun makeup.  

She is constantly re-applying!  She is my little diva.

 My sweet Dru got a skateboard.  This was on top of every list she made.

Christmas is always such a fun and busy day. 

We love to be with family and wouldn't have it any other way!
