Lake Powell

We ended our summer with a trip to Lake Powell!
It has been a few years since we have been there.  I forgot how gorgeous and diverse the scenery is.
The water was warm and the girls were the most daring they have ever been.
It was also awesome to get all the attention from grandma and grandpa Martin.

We did A LOT of jumping!

The marina ran out of soft serve ice cream so we shared a half gallon. :)

Ryan caught a lizard.
We brought it home and named it Lucky.
Ryan was the most excited and I was by far the least excited.

Cliff jumping

The girls LOVED riding on the tubes and could not get enough.

Owen lost his front tooth the night before we came home...
just in time for Kindergarten pictures!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Martin for a trip full of fun memories!

Wedding celebrations

Adrienne and Loren got married!
August 1st was an amazing day.

But let's back up a little bit.
Ade was so kind and included us in all the planning.
She had an incredible wedding planner but Ade still wanted our thoughts.
She even let us go to the wedding dress fitting.  Lucky us!

They had an open house for some neighbors and friends.

They also had a wedding dinner with immediate family the next night.  Extended family were then invited for some Waffle Love.

Aunt Rayne helped us with some wedding glam.

After a beautiful temple ceremony in the Draper Temple
we all headed up to Oakley for the wedding dinner.

Taunya made these incredible skirts for all the girls.

 They had a ring ceremony.
The best part was when they shared their wedding vows.
They could not have been more heartfelt.

The twins were darling and perfect.

All the siblings

Owen loved baby Lucas!

Every detail was gorgeous and classy.

Owen loved the dance floor and entertained everyone while they found their seats.

We were lucky to sit by Rayne and Tom and my parents.

Don't let this picture fool you.
They were CRAZY on the dance floor.

My kids felt special all weekend long.
It was an honor for them to be so involved.

It was so wonderful to celebrate with the entire family.
It was a day we will never forget.
