Christmas day

Christmas morning started by Ryan and I waking up the kids.  They still have never woken up on their own which I think is crazy.  The first thing they did is run to the tree to look for the Christmas pickle.  Liv found it again this year and was able to open a special gift.

We then opened presents.
I know I took a lot of pictures but I think their faces are priceless.

My parents and Kim come over in the morning to deliver their gifts to the kids.
It would be complete chaos if our family did this all together.
It was fun to spend a little alone time with them.

My mom surprised Dru with a signed DVD of Studio C. (byu comedy show)
Dru was beyond thrilled!

Liv loves anything Paris!

Rylie loved her boy Barbie and Ariel doll.

It is still all about Mr. Potato Head and anything from ToyStory with Owen.

The kids loved their thoughtful and generous gifts.   We feel so lucky to live close and spend so much time with them.

We love Aunt Kim!!!

We then headed over to the Martins.  We ate a delicious breakfast and then opened up gifts.
Aunt Adrienne let Owen open up his first gift on her back.  Ha.  She makes everything more fun!

There were lots of hugs and thank yous.  We were spoiled again with beautiful and fun gifts.

It was the twins first Christmas.  They were SO adorable and SO good.  Dru surprised their family with fun little gifts that she bought with her babysitting money.

Ade got this awesome backpack for future adventures.  She was sweet to let Owen take the first ride.

The fab 5

Elisabeth made this great chef hat for Jim.  It was a hit!

Ade got the girls the classic Calvin and Hobbes comic books.  So fun!

Finally we ended up back at the Fentons.  The kids love to hang out with their cousins.  We ate a wonderful brunch, exchanged cousin gifts, played games, laughed and visited.

Kristen made my parents a calendar with pictures of everyone.  It was by far the best gift of Christmas!  They loved it!
Christmas is such an amazing time of year.  It is magical and heartwarming.  I love how it brings families and friends together as we celebrate our Savior's birth.

Zoo day

Before we got all this snow we had a beautiful day and headed to the zoo.
Megan and her boys came with us which made it more fun.

The polar bear was sick and in the hospital but Owen was determined to find it.

I love this pick of Henry in the background. :)

Dru dribbles with the Jazz

Ryan is on the board for Junior Achievement which gives us the chance for some pretty cool opportunities.  This time Dru was able to meet the Jazz.
Ryan and Dru arrived early to take some pics, grab a signed Jersey and meet the Jazz Bear.
She also got to go out half court and shake hands with the Jazz team, refs and captains of the opposing team.  She even got to play a little one on one with Gordon Hayward.
