We celebrated my amazing Mom's birthday last Sunday! We treated her to a Sunday dinner (which was nothing like her usual Sunday dinners) and Berkleigh made this awesome cake.

Happy Birthday Mom!
Thanks for all the MILLIONS of things you do for us!

You ALWAYS put family first.
Thanks for that example.

These little faces are so excited for Christmas!

One of the many advantages of Owen not being able to crawl yet is that we don't have to worry about him getting into the Christmas tree. This year the girls had such a fun time decorating the tree all on their own. {I didn't have the heart or energy to change it around that night.} The next morning when I woke up I decided I like it best the way it is.

We went to a live nativity with my mom and sister last night.
They did a great job recreating the city of Bethlehem. The had a lot of real animals including a camel. I love traditions that share the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas lights

We took the kids down town to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square. We decided to be adventurous and take Trax. I guess everyone had that same idea. It was SO packed we all stood the whole 20 minute ride. Ry and I took turns holding O while the other held the stroller. We also had to keep an eye on the kids who were holding on for dear life.

Rylie made this face for about 15 minutes of the ride.
Waiting for Trax.

The BEAUTIFUL lights!
A TON of people were enjoying the lights so you can imagine the traffic jam this picture caused. A cute Sister missionary took this pic.

The GORGEOUS Salt Lake Temple!

We were able to snag a seat on the way back. Liv had her nose pressed against the window just like this for most of the way.
We are loving the Christmas season!
